Kedarnath is a important holy temple for Hindus, it has been a pilgrimage center since ancient times. It is not certain who constructed the original Kedarnath temple and when. A mythological account ascribes the temple's construction to the legendary Pandava brothers mentioned in the Mahabharata.nApart from religion values it is a very beautiful place and one must visit here once in lifetime for sure.

This is the most amazing place i have ever went. Went with mental stress and depression but came back home with a new hope and excitement. Please try to go by trek and avoid horse. No need to visit Switzerland, Uttarakhand is no less than that place. Believe me.
