I am solo traveller from Turkey. I travelled south India and Alleppey was one of my stops. I stayed 2 nights in Punnamada Resort and I had amazing time. Ayurvedic massages, yoga sessions and sunset cruise were amazing. You should experience sunset cruise. Believe me, you would feel yourself in heaven. Resort is so peaceful place with the songs of birds. Foods were so delicious. All was just amazing. I will come back to Alleppey and Punnamada Resort for sure.

I was looking for resorts in google then i found punnamada resort. It's a beautiful resort. The villas were beautiful wooden ones whith amazing soft bed with canopy, large bathrooms with a section of ooen roof and natural ground give you feel of nature. The pool was just in front of the villas. The restaurant was facing the backwaters and you could eat enjoying the view. Complementary breakfast was just too good. For lunch & dinner they have al-cart menu but it is a bit expensive and limited option for a pure vegetarians. The resort had a calming and soothing effect on us. And the one dissappointment is the location difficult to find. But anyways it's super duper resort the calm surroundings, the scenery with backwaters and house boat floating lazily have such a soothing effect on you. Perfect detox.
