Silver Dollar City

This place has really come a long way over the years. I first came here as a little kid, and I enjoyed it then, but since then they’ve added more roller coasters, which makes it loads more fun in my opinion. It’s a great place for the whole family, with a variety of shows and rides with varying intensity. My grandparents love the old fashioned style and the country shows and shops. I enjoy that too, but enjoy the rides even more. It’s a beautiful park with lots to do for everyone.

We came down to visit Cedar Creek Dulcimers, the staff and owners are great. We had many questions about Dulcimers.nThey gave us, and others that were there before us the time and attention required for us to understand about Dulcimers.nWhat a very pleasant experience.nWe stayed one night at the Grand Victorian, that too was a great experience.nThe room was very nice, but not nearly as nice as the staff.nThey had a sing along in the evening.nI would highly recommend either of these.

Amazing and very well maintained park. The employees were nice and funny and sanitized the rides after every use. I would have given five stars until I seen the price for senior citizens. A person that has worked hard their entire life should be treated better than the price for entry reflected. Also the men in the tram rides from the parking lot were kinda rude with the one exception when we were leaving. However, I would definitely recommend this park if you're in the area.

Silver Dollar City is overall enjoyable. The rides are nice, there are activities for people of all ages, and there are enough different shops and sites to usually not have to wait in line in any one place for too long. My biggest complaint is that for the regular price, this place is more expensive than any comparable amusement park I have ever seen. I would not recommend going unless you are getting a special deal through an event or organization.nnMy caveat to this is that the Christmas lights they put out in winter are fantastic and you should see those if possible.

This is a really cool amusement park, a bit expensive, but really nice. They have tons of attractions for people that really like exciting rides, the slow and preferably much better rides, and things for anybody else it doesn't like rides. Like watching people create things to buying really nice goods and handmade crafts. And if you're lucky you can get some really good deals on a season pass specially near the end of the year. I think they're pretty worth it, it's best to go for the season pass though. You'll get more for your money.
