Beautiful palace. Kanker State was one of the princely states of India during the period of the British Raj. Nowadays part of the palace has been transformed into a hotel.

Excellent palace Takes you back to the days of Royalty.nThe palace rooms are huge, high ceilings and quaint ventilators. Historic.nThey also have cottages outside the palace for guests.its beautiful surrounded by ample greenery and fresh air. Oxygen level is great.nnGreat hospitality and wonderful local food.nnEnjoy the ambience the way it is.

Wonder whether it can be listed as a tourist place? Only the drawing room is accessible to the tourists. The rooms, available for stay, do not seem to have the usual facilities.

I had a great time staying here. Luxurious, comfortable and warm hospitality. Premium service, attentive and extremely helpful staff, neat and clean ambience, green landscape and excellent opportunity for nearby sight seeing. The bonus is to see and experience royal lifestyle from close quarters. Thank you KPH. Can't wait to come again.
