Green Mount Cottage

Recently we stayed here for 2 days with group of 10 people..owner of this cottage Mr.martin a very good gentleman and he guided us to visit all sight seeing places...cottage is very near to city which we get everything in walkable distance..maintainance of cottage is good...thanx to Mr.martain and his wife...

We already stayed this property during 2008. It was very clean and neat. He provided complimentary breakfast and night dinner cost basis. Very tasty foods they provided unlimited. We stayed for 2 nights in Green mount cottage. We were 5 of them and booked 2 rooms and allotted upstair. This cottage is run by Mr.Martin and his wife. Mr.Martin owner of this property was very nice and gentleman and moved friendly. They provided complimentary breakfast every day. Complementary breakfast was awesome every day unlimited. (Kadala curry, appam, puttu.....). This place is also closer to kalpetta main road and hence we can visit any nearby hotel or bakery for any food needs in evening or night. Bur this time Oct 26th to 28th 2019, we upset for this property. My son and daughter in law have very upset and unlike this property due to the following reasons: Cost wise it is slightly high compared to other best hotel and cottage They provided used pillow cover and bed sheets. It is dirty and bad smell. Pillow cover and bed sheets are not clean. The bedding and mattress need to be improved and can be more clean and neat We saw Leech (Attai poochi) inside the room and bath room during our entire staying. They not provided drinking water. Next day we asked and he gave two bottles of water. Third day he was not gave. Toiletry items only soap given. No wall clock, it is very difficult to know night and early mornings time. No staff provided to maintain, clean cottage and room. Staircases was not clean every day and no light in staircase. Night time it is very difficult to step down and up. We complained balcony light not function and tap water leak in bathroom. But he did not rectify till we checkout. They have not provided light in the main entrance of the cottage. It is dark during night. Proper maintenance made in this property, it is one of the best property to stay in Wayanad.

It's awesome Cottage. Care taker and Owner gives absolute support. He supported a lot and I would recommend for families and kiddo this s the only cottage you need to visit.

It’s awesome cottage, you can tell like home. I never saw such a large bathroom in cottages. Well maintained and very cleaned. Food is available based on the request. Food is yummy you can get Tamilnadu and Kerala style food. Just one minute walk from Kalpeta New bus stand, easy to reach the place. It’s in the Center of the town. It has parking facility too

Visited this place from August 9th to 13th.. Though there were many climatic issues.. They prepared nice foods both non veg n veg.. Hospitality is very good and the place is safe to say both for family and bachelors. Rooms are neat and clean..
