Good place to stay during hornbill festival

We stayed at Camp Hornbill recently as a group of 10 people during the hornbill festival. The only pros were location (20 min walk) and clean toilet/ shower facility hence 2 stars.nnUnfortunately the cons outweigh the pros. Here is a sampling - some people from the group reached before the others; they were denied access to the tents despite a long and tiring journey. Tents are setup in farming sites although the land is left as-is and no attempt has been made to flatten the land. We had rocks under our tent. When we asked for extra mattresses to make it comfortable these weren’t delivered. It got cold the first night; when we asked for thick blankets which some tents had, we were given an excuse that those were reserved. Why do u need to reserve blankets?? While the food was decent; the place was understaffed and would often take an order but not complete it.nnOverall, a place with a lot of potential but managed poorly especially considering the cost.
