Sivsagar Town Railway station is situated in Sivsagar City of Assam. The station is well connected with the entire city through easy conveyance options. A number of trains pass through this station including Dibrugarh - New Delhi Rajdhani Express. Station is well maintained; passengers’ amenities are satisfactory.

Way to small railway station for a big town like Sivasagar. People are forced to go to simaluguri jn for a better railway connectivity. NFR should make a boost in the simaluguri dibrugarh line and also should increase the number of train stoppages at Sibsagar town

#Northeasternrailway should take necessary steps to upgrade this Railway station.. City is having large historical background so #assamgovernment must take some systematic approach to develop this station as well as the to attract more tourist and make this place a wonderful tourist destination..
