Beautiful temple in the banks of river Varattar (distributry of Pampa). Good ambience.

This temple with Vana-durga as main deity has another temple of Lord Shiva in the same campus. The temple is located 750 mtrs to the west from Aarattukadavu Junction on M.C Road between Thiruvalla and Chengannur. The temple is open from 5am to 9am and from 4:30pm to 7:30pm on all days. Vishu is the main festival of this temple and 'Anpoli Para' is the main offering to the goddess. The 'Aalpindi-vilakku' held early morning (around 4am) on the succeeding day of Vishu is of great attraction and also marks the culmination of two weeks long festival.
