Guardian Pharmacy

I’m really disappointed with the guy at the counter. I was looking for Vitamin C tablets. They didn’t have it. The guy suggested some probiotic tablets. I asked the price of it. He mumbled 3 something. I took it as 300 something. So I gave him 500. He saw the note and said he didn’t have change (which means he knew i had misheard the price he said) so i offered to pay by card. The next thing I knew was I paid around 3500 for those tablets and by the time I had already boarded the flight. This kind of behaviour from the salesman of such a well known chemist is highly unacceptable and distasteful. I hope they don’t fool customers like this in future.

This shop is charging too high. I got cold and my throat hurts. One guy in the store give me 3 medicine and charge me about 6000 rp. I was in a hurry at that time. But later I found one of them is brand gnc for digestion system. It’s not related to my symptoms at all!

This pharmacy charges extravagant charges pushing their private label. The queue tends to be long too, as it is the most 'visible' pharmacy in T3.nIf you see a product you want to buy here, and queue is small go for it. Alternatively, there is an Apollo pharmacy close to Gate 7. Their assortment is way better

My review is based on the realization i had much later when i got home. I failed to see it right at the time of shopping. I had little time to shop and focused on himalaya products as i know them well. I was approached by one of the salesmen and he recommended some other product. I trusted him and took it. I was although slightly irritated by his comment “this is more natural Sir” . I live outside india so i generally take 2 of each for home. He then kept recommending me stuff. I was in a hurry he knew. I trusted him! Then he made the bill i couldn’t look over the counter as it is all very small. Then the second guy packed all in and sealed it before i even payed and the bill was >20000 rupees. I was surprised but my flight about to leave so i thought what could go wrong. I asked him whether everything is correct. And he said all ok. I paid and left wondering how it could be so much. I discovered at home that all what he recommended (Earthwin) was at least 3-4 times the price of Himalaya products. I didn’t check the price right there ud83eudd26ud83cudffc‍♂ufe0f. Highlight being the product he recommended instead of LIV 52 (130rupees 60 tablets) that is GNC liver support (3699rupees for 50 tablets) this is no way a customer buying liv 52 would be looking for. I took 2 of each so 2 bottle of GNC liver support was like half the bill ud83eudd26ud83cudffc‍♂ufe0f.nnThe shop itself has good stuff but beware of the quality of salesmen and their knowledge and always check the price of products they suggest!! Seeing a foreigner or even a foreigner spouse they try to sell you the way more expensive products. This was indeed disappointing. I cannot tell whether the products are of good quality only time will tell. But i see it as a responsibility of the salesmen to inform the customer properly and not take undue advantage! This is Delhi airport and not Palika bazaar.nnNote by the side in general:n(I recommend to take indian souvenirs from WHSmith. There are priced fair and have ayurvedic stuff as well (my wife shopped there in parallel).ni.e. Don’t buy stuff right at entering the duty free go further the shops later are much better. )

Loot shop not Medicine shop. Beware of their own brands which are 10 times more expensive than regular brands. The chemists will always say not available to your requirements and would suggest you to buy same salt with different name, which would be much more priced
