The Junkyard Cafe

One of the very few restaurant bar in the city which can boast of excellent food and a very lively atmosphere. The interiors are amazing. Very nicely done. You fall in love with the place on the very for visit. Food is also good. Though they have a limited menu but the taste is excellent and portion size are also decent enough. The prices are reasonable not expensive. You will thoroughly enjoy the food with amazing ambience and music. Definitely a must visit place to have fun and enjoy your drinks.

Ambience is interesting! New setup. My kid lived the plane hanging from ceiling and all decor stuff. Kept him busy for a while.nnDrink s preparation is good. Food is good but quantity is quite less.nnKeeping in mind, covid , the cleanliness was less. Waiter serving us was wearing just one gloves. When we insisted then he wore both the gloves.

The food and service both were very good. I went to celebrate my birthday with my friend there. We clicked a lot of photos. The ambience was great and the staff was accommodating. We went on a dry day so can't comment on the alcohol. However, the milk shake was extremely sweet. They were happy to modify it for us though. The pizza was good and so were the kabobs.

We visited this cafe by chance as i love hookah. So we called up the cafe and got the confirmation. From outside u wont be able to figure it out the moment we went in, it was like awesome. There was a nice jamming session and the seatings are very well diversed. There are sitting for 2, 4 ,6 and more. The theme is very well expressed from ceiligs to seatings to dividers to the washrooms. The food here is amazing. I still cant get over the onion rings(best) and offcourse hookah✌ud83cudffb its a must must visit in CP. Rates are reasonable I wouldn’t say cheap nor too expensive. They have their own happy our schedule. Do jot forget to ask the waiter for the same. We have taken the liverage of many happy hour offers.

I'm only an occasional visitor to this establishment. I like the decor and ambience. On this occasion, the place was obviously empty because of the ongoing pandemic, but still, the wait staff took their own sweet time to attend to the handful of diners that were there at the time we visited.nnWhile the decor and ambience is nice, I didn't particularly like the food. Here's a run down of what we ordered and how I would rate that dish:nn1. Dal Makhni - I'll rate it 3/5 because the portion was quite small, it didn't come with any rice or breads and was a little spicy, despite requesting for it to be made mild.nn2. Margarita Pizza - I'll rate it 2/5 because it was very spicy. Since when is a margarita pizza loaded up with red chillies? The waiter was clearly told that this dish was for a child, still, the pizza was very spicy.nn3. Chicken & Mushroom Lasagna - I'll rate it 1/5. The dish was prepared in a Bachamel sauce, but the the cheese they used was very pungent and left a strange after taste. Also, they seemed to have used jalapenos and perhaps some green olives in the lasagna layers which made the taste even more strange. The mix of ingredients made for a uniquely horrible dish that was hard to palate. I love a good lasagna, but this one cannot be passed of as a lasagna, but as a waste of money.nnThe 2 stars I give this place is for the decor and ambience. The food is not worth it.
