A serene place.... Good ancient temple with lawn to sit and have a good time... Wrapped with thick forest, one can easily find peace even in the rush crowd! Preferably try to visit at daytime... Photos will be good as sun will shine directly on the temple front.nnAlso to mention, there's a waterfall there and one have to trek almost for 1hr!

This Mahadev Temple is a beautiful and serene Shiva temple, albeit very small. Yet, for me, the small size doesn't matter; it was actually better for me. It feels more intimate and inviting. Cool and invigorating. The energy is... wonderful and so immense that it overwhelmed me during my visit in early January 2020. It was a beautiful place to surrender and meditate... and I will surely visit this place again the next time I'm in Goa...

One of my favourite in South Goa. If you are fed up of beaches, parties and noisy areas and traffic. Want to do some mediation, have a walk through nature, jungle, visit an old temple in the middle of forest. Then it is the perfect place for you. Accessible by road through private vehicles. Nearby waterfall and and spring is the best thing you will enjoy. Temple is carved in stone, so cool place. Old 'Shilas' (carved stone with pictures and message) put in the middle of loan near Mahadeva temple.

It's a beautiful 10th century temple. Kept very clean and good ambience. We went in the morning so didn't really find crowd or anyone other than us.nnIf you are here try going to the waterfall besides it. It would be a 1.5hr trek approximately (one way) .nnThere is a small shop selling water n chips. Meals may not be available.

Very nice ancient temple in mid of forest. Not known to many tourists, its very serene and peaceful in a very cool location. Final leg of journey is very enjoyable specially during rainy and winter season.
