A very beautiful and amazing place for nature lovers. This is the starting point of Doodhsagar waterfall trekking journey which is a must for every trekking enthusiast.

Nestled in the luxurious lap of greenery this quaint little village Castle rock is a major railway station on the main line of Madgaon to Londa. You need to alight here to start your adventurous 16km trek to the celebrated Dudhsagar falls. In my younger days it was a metre guage line with trains hauled by steam engine.

very beautiful rwy stn. the trek route for dudhsagar waterfall starts fm here, which is 16 km away, takes around 4 hours. the route is very beautiful, beautiful landscapes, rock cut passages, tunnels, curves, mountain edges, trains passing by. the best time is during monsoon and post monsoon.
