I work here now, and it is not as bad as everyone says. I've been in plenty of factories but haven't had much experience in aluminum foundries. This factory becomes almost like a family to you when you get to know all the employees it gives you comfort in going to work, knowing everyone is having a good time and there for you. They do try their best to keep their employees happy. I have a genetic condition where my joints actually cause pain and dislocate, but the work isn't that hard on me. It's tolerable to work 40 hours and you do get overtime opportunities. The first weeks take time to get used to, but as time goes on it gets easier. They offer PTO, health benefits etc. They have many long time dedicated employees. The bad reviews are absurd, Allcast is not a bad company. They actually listen to concerns and if any previous or current employees have concerns don't be afraid to speak up. They will do what they can to make sure things change if it needs to be changed. They don't take screwing around lightly, and they don't tolerate much. Mario does good for the company too. From the stories I've heard from years ago, it definitely seems like Mario has pulled the company together. Thank you Allcast, I'm glad I got the opportunity to work here.

Horrible company to work for! Crazy how many punk employees work there and seems like there rewarded for stealing tools from locked toolboxes! If your a hard worker and bust your ass this is not the place for you! Could be a better place to work for but alot if changes need to be made first starting with management!

Do not work here. I had 6 years aluminum casting experience. This is not a scorned employee review. I walked off the job when I quit. Management is horrible. Never have supply's. Never consider outside suggestions, HUGE drug scene, (always nice in a heavy industrial setting) I thought the place had potential, trust me, your better off passing this one. Only thing about the place worth mentioning is they have some good employees, until they realize how bad the place is. News flash, the only good review is from mario. He is low level management, worked longer than 2 years, and is friends with all the other management. Which explains why he tried to hype up the sinking ship he is part of. When I worked there it seemed like they were pumping money into upgrades so owner can sell it, guess what? Thats what happened. If you can work in a foundry, keep looking, or do what they do to their employees, use them for what their worth, and move on. Maybe they will catch on when enough people walk inout. The most valuable machine in a foundry are the human beings that show up willingly. Not the management holding them down, so they have a safe place to hide low IQ management wits substance abuse problems. C cap search the bosses before you accept employment. When corporate $ is involved, maybe they'll clear cut the dead branches so the company can survive.

I work here now and i am seeking other opportunities. Not worth the $12 an hour. When set up guys make $15+ and they're job is easier. Just a quick paycheck to get me om my feet. The bathrooms are filthy with no ventilation. The supervisor on 2nd shift will laugh at you when you tell him your about to pass out from being sick even though he was out 2 sick days the week before. P.o.s. id rather work at a gas station. Just think of this as a last resort job.
