Mountain Lake Poomala, Thrissur District, Kerala, India.

Stayed there for a day with family friends and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Very nice place for a weekend getaway. Remote and silent with a nice lake side private road for morning or evening stroll. No crowd or vehicle disturbance. Rooms were comfortable with large bathroom. We had a nice verandah for 2 rooms where all 4 families could spend a nice evening. Staff was very friendly and prepared nice food for us. A sure suggestion for families.

+ Location is pretty good. Service is really good. Food was awesome and didn't take much time for service. - Room interiors are not so good. I mean, the design itself could have been better. For example, the tiles in suit room and all. Might be personal taste though. Plastic waste, Plastic waste Plastic waste everywhere. This is something that pisses me off. You can see plastic waste like, glass, bottle, chips packet thrown everywhere (for example, below the wash area near to non-A/C rooms). Also, they can be socially responsible and take care of plastic waste in nearby areas where people come to booze/smoke and throw the bottles and chips packets there. Smoking/Drinking all cool man, but why throw things like these there!

A really nice place with great view of the lake. Reasonably priced and good service.
