Daya General Hospital & Speciality Surgical Centre-Thrissur

One of the best hospitals I have visited. All staff were friendly and was supporting us always. My father had a surgery here for removing kidney stone. I must specifically say the names who supported. Dr. Paul T Johny was completely professional and and was a full expert in his area. Also there was immense support from PRO Mrs. Shiny on each phase of consultation. The complete hospital was neat and clean. The room we got was a general room but was neat, clean and spacious. The food court here was neat and clean. The dishes served was tasty but not expensive. I recommend the hospital.

The Covid resting process could be much better. I visited on a Sunday and was told that tests happen only on weekdays and asked to be there by 9.30. Reached by 9.20 submitted the form and was told testing starts from 10.00. Finally they started taking samples by 10.30. By the time it started there were more than 50 registration and the place was too crowded. Again was informed that the soft copies of results won't be available and someone needs to pick it up from the hospital. The whole idea is to avoid crowded places and it's a tough task righ now. Also soft copies of reports via email helps us avoid the second visit which I feel is unnecessary. On tip of it, I had to call atleast 15 times to know the result.

very bad and unprofessional experience from dr suja boby gynaecologist.refused me to enter with my wife for consultation.somehow my wife managed the consultation alone and we were upset .I asked the doctor about it and she repeated the words which she told to my wife.. This is not fair. although we waited for more than 3 hours for the consultation and as a husband i must tell the doctor about my wife for her speedy recovery but i am not allowed to. If you’re a man, do what makes your wife comfortable. If the doctor insists on seeing her alone throughout the entire consult, ask for reasons. If they’re not good reasons, then find a different doctor.As a gynae she is a failure.i will recommend not to go.. we live in a country were husband's are allowed even in labor rooms..

I have reached to emergency department with the complaints of fall and had fracture. The main complaint is that about this hospital is tooo much delay. Each and every department is delay for such things. Its too bad.discharge process is too late.... Care from staffs is litte down. I had undergone for a surgery so i have that pain after getting relief from anaesthetic effect. When my bystanders go and inform about my pain only one of the staff reach and provide one injection. After that they are not enquiries about did my pain subsides. Also each and every services are getting delay. We want to wait till eveng for a discharge bill. Only the payment process is fast..... Kindly be mercy to bills also. The bill cannot be affordable for simple patients.

One of the best doctors and staff that I have interacted recently. My father who is 70 year old was recently admitted for a severe gall bladder infection and required a surgery and it was Dr. Arun and Dr. Sreejith who attended to him.The diagnosis, suggestions, care and treatment given by both these doctors were exemplary. Since my father had history of heart ailments, utmost care was given and they worked closely with the Cardiologist and internal medicine team and made the surgery successful. Now, after a month he has completely recovered and is safe and a big thanks to this entire team of professionals. Along with the doctors, definetely need to mention and thank the two pillars of the gastro department, Sisira and Shiny who just made everything seamless during our hospitalisation there.A big thanks to the entire Gastro team!! You guys are doing an amazing work!! Special mention _the staff and maintenance of the cafeteria is amazing. Reception/Insurance team- can do a better! Regards, Prajeesh
