We really enjoyed our visit to the Tibet museum. Here you can find lots of texts and photographs explaining the history of the Tibet and relating the tragic story behind China taking over.nnThe museum narrates this story in a very detailed and vibrant way. Each quote from Tibetan describing what they had and still have to go through is very powerful.

You must visit this museum to understand the struggle of the Tibetan people. Beautifully presented and a reminder of the awful persecution of a nation which the world seems to have forgotten.

Must visit place. The video session was eye-opening. The collection is fantastic and well preserved. Such rich heritage and culture. The shops outside sell good clothes and souvenirs.nnYou can buy nice and cheap postcards at the reception. Parking is a slight issue but that's with entire McleodGanj.
