As part of the renovation project the South Indian Bank will arrange airport quality toilets for gents and ladies, restaurant, ATM centre, various Kiosks including police aid-post, mobile phone shops, medical stores, stationary shops and rest room for drivers will be setup, said officials.nThe bank will also assure security facility to the bus stand.nFor the next 10 years, the bank will manage maintenance work of the bus stand. The construction works of the bus stand were done with the guidance of Thrissur Government Engineering College. At a time, 20 buses can arrange parking facility inside the new bus stand, said officials.

Vadakke bus stand is situated north side of Thrissur round and vadakkum nathan temple, as the name indicates. It is recently rebuilded with the help of south indian bank.The face lift of the bus stand will be implemented with the CSR fund of South Indian bank.The facelift is worth Rs 5.5 crore.
