If you are travelling to alleppey then you will be passing through this place and this must not be missed if you are in alleppey. It contains collection of classic works of art. The museum is dedicated to Revi Karunakaran who was known for his massive role in improving the coir industry in Kerala.

It is a privately owned museum that displays decorative arts and artifacts, including a large private collection of Swarovski crystals and ivory. Revi Karunakaran was the architect of the modern coir industry in Kerala

Woow, amazed by the collection. That man has really loved and lived life exploring entire globe. I call visiting this museum is poor man's world tour:-)

It's a must visit if you are at Allepy. Takes u min an hr. An amazing collection of crystals and ivory besides the other antiques. It's incredible how a man can accumulate so many beautiful paintings, crystals, antiques, furniture in just one lifetime... Speaks volumes about the interest and the energy to follow it. Betty Karan has done a marvelous job by opening her husband's collection to the public to admire.
