I visited City Park for Celebration in the Oaks. With Covid 19, this year is completely drive through and you must buy your ticket online. The weekend days sell out quickly, so I opted for a Tuesday evening. It was perfect and there weren’t many vehicles. When entering the park, there’s a sign to turn to a radio station to listen to Christmas music. Note that you’re required to wear a mask when interacting with the staff in the check in line.nnOverall, the lights/decorations were nice. Compared to last year, it seems like they scaled it back some. I did appreciate that it was a long, slow drive throughout the park...very relaxing! There were no cars directly in front or behind me so I was able to stop and take pictures as much as I wanted. There’s a big, lit up naughty list at the end that’s supposed to display your names (based on the list you provide when you buy the ticket). Sadly, it didn’t work when I drove past it.nnWith such a huge focus on social distancing right now, Celebration in the Oaks is an excellent choice for a nice outing with the family.

Celebration In the Oaks Xmas light show. Our tickets were from 9-10pm. Long line but it moved swiftly. I appreciated how they included the kids name on the NICE list and the adults on Santa’s NAUGHTY list. The displays were average, nothing with a wow factor in my opinion but the kids enjoyed it. Took about 25 minutes to maneuver through the park.

They really made me comfortable with all the people sanitizing walking around. And managed to bring back the driving tour spaced out so the line wasn't horrible. I loved the special touches like seeing my daughters name on the nice list & my husband and I on the naughty list. Also the radio station was a wonderful idea. I hope they got better signage to direct you to the train station, hot cocoa and roasting marshmallows. Over all that was the only part I was disappointed in.
