The station is situated on central railway.It is after Byculla If you travel from CST.It is very old Historical station.It is said that it is established in 1877.nConstruction for Monorail also going on very nearby.nOne can get trains for CST ,Karjat,Thane,Kalyan,Titwala,Dombivil.But all the trains are slow only.nThis station has very importance during Ganesh puja as devotees have to get down here only for darshan of Mumbai famous Lal baghcha Raja.nStation is well maintained but toilet needs more attention.nThe only drawback of this station is no halt for fast trains.

You can get direct train for CST and for Thane, Karjat but you will get only slow trains not fast train.
