The Shivajinagar Court District Buildings were designed 1st by the office of the consulting architect to the Government of Bombay and were constructed under the supervision of officers on the head quarters works division of the public works department. Estimate & sanctioned Rs. -20,00,000/- actual cost Rs. 19,50,000 in the year 1923 - ref ecourts websitenIt has beautiful well maintained garden by PWD !!

chaotic , crowded. Mobile signal is very weak inside.

Its chaotic in general. Very tough to get parking outside anywhere. Having bike or going by auto or taxi is better. Have to ask for everything inside too. Better to seek information beforehand from someone. Has 3 canteens and many buildings inside. Mobile signal is very weak inside. Tough to call or talk to anyone. Best to call while you are still outside and only then go inside

These Judicial Building were declared open by the Hon’ble sir Charles Gordon hill Fawcett Kt I C S PUISNE Judge of the High court of Judicature Bombay on Monday 5th Nov 1928. The Buildings were designed 1st the office of the consulting architect to the Government of Bombay and were constructed under the supervision of officers on the head quarters works division of the public works department.nnEstimate & sanctioned Rs.-20,00,000/- actual cost Rs. 19,50,000. The work was completed on 24th nov 1923 & completed on 31st October 1928. The following officers were responsible for the design & construction of the work. S Woods hill A.R.I.B.A., F.U.B. & J. Mainly practising in mumbai but have couple of cases in this court and I can say one of the best district court i have visited so far!nnOpen space, spacious court rooms, cleanliness, waiting area, bar rooms for advocates, etc. makes this court premises a really nice place for both litigants and advocates!
