Powerhouse Gym West Bloomfield, MI

Love this gym! I will never be able to go back to a Planet Fitness after coming here. Its rarely packed so I can always get any equipment I want and the pool is a great feature that not many other gyms have.

Helpful staff, 24hrs most days, and a great environment. After being someone who disliked gyms prior to my first visit, the fact that my favorite part of most days is coming here is a crazy turn around. I thoroughly enjoy every visit, and can’t recommend this gym enough!

Editing my review from a couple years ago. Nice facility, but they are doing awful with handling COVID-19. They require you to wear a mask to check in, but once you check in everyone just takes off their mask and don’t enforce social distancing. In spite of that, they were open illegally against the governors order for months. Would not recommend getting a membership here if you want to be safe. Overall just not worth the money. I should have stuck with planet fitness.

It was fine prior to Covid. After which they refused to allow me to cancel my membership over the phone. When charges were made on my account, the manager would not refund any charges. After Bank of America worked to return those funds to my account, Powerhouse charged me $222.96. I will now call Bank of America to dispute this again. Bad business.

Management is greedy and unprofessional!ni was a member for almost 1 year with disputes in unfound charges on my account, charges for an upgraded membership that I did not authorize. i finally left to join a friendlier managed gym. i later found out that they hit my credit with a charge for a whole year of unused services. Who does that?? Tried to destroy a persons livelihood!
