Very small airport and it was abandon since merge of tripura. Local people denote this place is erarpar. But the airport is very little that if the government try to restart it, then he can't. Because in this size of airport only helicopter is able to land. But in future if the government want to reopen the airport then need to be very careful and well planning in it. Future of the dhalai are mostly depends on this.

This airport has been closed for a long time.The government has planned to reopen it but it's not happened yet.The buildings at the airport look horrible.

CLOSED DOWN OLD AIPORT,USED IN THE BRITISH ERA AND AFTER INDEPENDENCE. USED FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES NOW.
