Sunamganj Traditional Museum

The Heritage Museum has started its journey in the 150-year-old court building built during the British rule in Sunamganj municipal town. The journey of this heritage museum is to get to know Sunamganj and present the identity of the district to the people. All the memories of the district including environment, natural resources, culture and liberation war have been displayed in this museum. The entrepreneurs said that this is the first such museum at the district level in the country. Entrepreneurs are hopeful that this heritage museum will be enriched day by day. The court building on DS Road next to Surma river in Sunamganj municipal town was built during the British period. The 150-year-old abandoned court building was on the verge of destruction.

The museum was closed so don't know about what's inside. Nevertheless, the ambience outside was coming. The central Sunamgonj mosque is beautiful. Great architectural view.

Nice place. But it is small place for a museum. Place is clean. You can have a historical as well as giographical concept from this museum. There is a entry fee of 10TK. You you have enough time in your hand then this place can be in your list of visit within the town. After 8:00PM they will be closed.
