Its a Small bus shelter in the stop. The stop got the name from the oldest shop here which belongs to a nambiar. Thats why this name. It is a grocery shop. The bus shelter situates nearby the hotel here. Its mostly used by thd Students from nursing college and physiotherapy college. They used to gather in the shelter and spent time while waiting for the bus. But there is no bus stop in the other side for people want to go to Anjarakkandi side. They also are forced to use this shelter while raining etc. in a whole small bit a very helpful one
