This is a beauty of Amritsar.it is a historical place.at this place 13th April 1919 commemorate the murder of peaceful celebrators. In which incident British troops fired on a large crowd of unarmed Indians in an open space known as the Jallianwala bagh in Amritsar in the punjab region of india.killing several hundred people and wondering many hundreds more.it marked a turning point in india modern history,in that it left a permanent scar on Indo British relations and was the prelude to Mohandas Gandhi Full commitment to the cause of Indian nationalism and independence from Britain it is a memorial of national importance established in 1951.till time here is shown mark of bullets on the walls.here also a Amar jyoti.here also a museum of old things related with freedom fighters.here is a beautiful garden

Past is Visible here. Thousands of People lost their lives here. The memorial was first established in the year 1951 in order to remember and pay tribute to the people who had sacrificed their lives in the massacre done by the forces of the British rule over the peaceful Indian people who were involved in celebrating the most famous Punjabi New Year. A must visit place which is at a walkable distance from the Golden Temple.
