I delivered my son through normal delivery in EVK Mylapore. The hospital has skilled and experienced set of doctors. My consulting doctor is Dr. Shobana. But due to the covid 19 pandemic situation I had to consult an available doctor during the checkups. Talking about my delivery experience, I had an emergency at midnight and the hospital offered me an ambulance to commute to the hospital. They monitored me and induced labour. They waited until I went into active labor several hours later and helped me deliver the baby safe through normal delivery. Dr.Runa was very motivating during the labor and made the delivery process as smooth as possible. I thank Dr. Shobana and all the doctors who were there throughout my pregnancy and though there were some process hiccups due to the covid situation during the checkups, things went on fine at the end. I thank the nurses who were friendly during my stay and I would like to say is they waited and were genuinely keen in making normal delivery a possibility. Thank you EVK Seethapathy!!!

Doctors are pretty much experienced & gives good feedback or suggestions about medications. But when the appointment is getting fixed at 11:30 a.m., we can meet the doctor by 1:00 p.m. so much of waiting time for the OP patients. Would request management to take necessary action or appoint more doctors if necessary.

I had a happy and safe delivery. It was a wonderful experience. Amritha Doctor helped me, motivated a lot when I was in labor. All the Doctors are much experienced and they are available all the time. I really wonder how doctors spend sleepless nights to attend a patient as well as making their availability on the immediate next day. Doctor was with me from 1 am. I delivered baby around 3.30 am. Even then she came at 10am to check how I am feeling. Such a caring person. All the nurses and supporting staffs are professional especially the nurses in the labor ward. Overall I had a very satisfying experience. Enjoyed good food. Few staffs in the reception need to improve themselves. I strongly recommend Seethapathy clinic for all the pregnant women. Very happy and proud moments to remember and cherish always.

Excellent hospital for maternity..docs are well qualified and they are very concerned about our health and baby condition..As I went to hospital a week prior with false pain, they told it's a common sign and returned back home..hence I was confident they are no where money minded to do c section..later admitted 2 days before my due date and they still waited till my due date..excellent nurses who are available and very kind in clarifying our doubts and motivating us to have normal delivery, My initial consultation was with Dr.sowmiya but had chance to be examined by many professionals during labour...even wen I was in pain and I asked for a c section they refused and told me to wait and made a natural birth..My husband was allowed in labour room was an added happiness during birth..epidural was given only when it was essential for me to manage the pain.Nurse gomathi was excellent support in labour room.My only suggestion is canteen and its food for patients post delivery is not at all good..kindly look on to it as we stay min 2 or 3 days its hectic to have such food post delivery..other than that an excellent hospital in Chennai for natural birth its 100% trusted..I would recommend for everyone who wish to have Normal delivery.
