Passport services are fast and easy but the workers at the counter are charging money for service. All payments are prepaid to government, so why do I have to pay again at the office and not even clear about what the money is about. Not mentioned anywhere on the government site or at the office. They charged me extra Rs. 450. For which I did not get any receipt. In short straight stealing from naive people. Take care.

On 12th October 2020 - I had visited Tolichowki Passport Office to change my address in the passport & update my spouse passport too, so we got A8 & A12 Counter. I had seen staff passed rude comments on people's education. Overall, felt really humiliating New rules, new tactics of robbing money. Gold Diggers.nI have made bond papers for that so I have mentioned dates in 3,4 places in the paper which everyone can do, my person wrote the year 2020 but it was looking 2010 but if you can see or focus there is 2020 only, so no one understanding even I tried to explain and convinced to every employee and Manager too but they don't want to understand.nEmployees are very arrogant and rude, I had ever seen this kind of employee in my life, They are very forced arguing to take passport pouches to cover to everyone and fighting with them, what is this nonsense even not providing any receipts. I want to request the Government of Telangana Plz takes action immediately on everyone.

Lack of safety and social distancing protocols. Counters C usually have a huge line of people waiting and are close to one another. I’d recommend staying in the main lobby while waiting for your token and wear a mask. There are still people who wear the mask under the chin and cough. I don’t understand how this helps anyone. The entire process is also slow right now because of minimal staffing so be prepared to come in early.

Work done smoothly.. but they were demanding to take take the passport cover compalsory.. it cost 400/- . As it is a option to take . It's not compalsory .. buy in the counter they were demanding yo take it . Even when told I am not carrying cash , they told to bring cash and by the time told to leave my orginal AADHAR card with them... There is no credit card or other options to pay.. only cash they want.. so carry additional cash for unexpected expenses like Xerox or photo copy, passport cover , etc... Carry 500/- cash
