For those travelers who would like to explore how Indian railways work, Chennai railway station is an ideal one to check out. The station is housed in a British era building. Despite the crowd is well maintained and is clean.nnIn case if some one just wants to check out the place do buy a platform ticket to visit as in India without platform tickets one can't enter the railway station.nnThere is no need to buy the platform tickets if one is traveling by a train starting from there.
