It's a small railway station in Hyderabad suburban area located next to Secunderabad railway station. Only MMTS trains have a halt and otherwise it's a station with no trains. The premises is totally clean and there are many food vendors roaming on the platform. Alight here for Husain Sagar Lake.

James Street Railway Station is a railway station located in between Beaumpet and Secunderabad railway stations. The station was built in 1874 and was the second station after Secunderabad station on the Hyderbad-Wadi sector by Nizam State Railways. No wheelchair accessible entry. Only MMTS trains will stop.

One of the older Railway stations in the twin cities, it had become run-down till the MMTS service started. Now it is spruced-up with longer platforms and the latest in passenger amenitiesnIt is very close to Secunderabad station so a lot of trains wait here till platforms are available therenThere is a booking counter for both current and advance booking. It is now well-maintained.nA lot of MMTS trains stop here now and it is quite a busy station. It has a well co-ordinated display and announcement system
