Cavalry Barracks is a railway station in Hyderabad, Telangana, India located on the Manmad-Secunderabad section of the South Central Railway..it is a well maintained station. Not so much people on the platform. Earlier people used to travel from this station a lot . There used to be a 4 compartment train which used to run from main Secunderabad station but now we dont see that train at all. Long Journey train passes from this station but they dont stop at such stations as they are small.. Next is the Ammuguda station while going to Secunderabad.

A well-maintained small railway station on the Hyderabad - Manmad section of the Indian Railways. It earlier catered to metre-guage during the 80s, then there were both metre- & broad-guage lines and now there are fully electrified broad guage lines (4) with three platformsnIt is a station that integrates well with nature, redevelopment having retained the huge old trees on the premises. It is very neat and clean with a public address system. Now long distance trains to Bombay & Jaipur pass through this station, but only passenger and MMTS services actually stop here.
