Built on River Manjira which originates in Maharashtra, Singur Dam is one of the major source of drinking water for Hyderabad. This dam which is located around 70 km from Hyderabad is a major tourist attraction as well. To reach the dam, taking the Sangareddy route is preferable as Manjira Dam also can be covered during the same trip. You got to try the fish fry sold at the shops located about 200 meters away from the dam... it is finger licking good. Although it's 65/70 kms from hyd it will take 2 hours aprox journey by car. Good place for Family long drive during corona situation. Crowed can be managed. A bit off road can take you to river manjeera.

It's a lot to spend with family members with friends on the weekends and the fish that is available here is also very tasteful.
