Black Hills National Cemetery

My father died suddenly at the age of 61. We were all shocked and didn't know what to do. He always said he wanted to be buried in Sturgis to rest with other Veterans and because it was close to home, Sheridan, Wyoming and Miller South Dakota. Not knowing how to even go about doing all this, the employees were very helpful so that we could honor his wishes. We were able to set everything up with ease, and they even remembered me the next time I came back to visit him. That in itself was very heart warming that they remembered me even after all the veterans that they laid to rest after my dad. The view from is plot is AMAZING and I could not ask for a better place for him to rest. Thank you so much and I will visit as often as I can ud83eudd70ud83eudd70ud83dude4fud83dude4f

This is a stunning area and local landscape for honoring this nation's deceased veterans. It is the final resting place for many vets, and it is a place that equalizes everybody who served, from private to general officer, and recognizes their service to the United States. Bravo.

THE GREATEST MAN I HAVE EVER KNOWN IS NOW IN A BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE MOST STUNNING NATIONAL CEMETERY. LORRIE BEHL AND THE DIRECTOR FINISHED WHAT I STARTED YEARS AGO ON A QUEST TO HONOR A MAN THAT TAUGHT ME TO BE A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE. HE LIVED A LIFE FOR OTHERS AND FAMILY WAS IMPORTANT TO HIM. ANOTHER MAJOR QUEST CHECKED OF MY MUST DO BEFORE I DIE LIST. MIKE YOU SOAR WITH EAGLES.
