This museum is amazing! We spent hours there going through one exhibit after another. There was so much to see, so many priceless pieces from so many different time periods from all over the world. But seeing that massive picture of George Washington crossing the a Delaware was incredible! It was my favorite piece of the whole day! This museum is definitely a must see if you are in New York City!

We are so lucky to have such an incredible institution in our community. This is a world-class museum with equally important pieces of art. Don’t plan on seeing everything in one day. Take a few pieces in and come back for more when ready. Buy tickets online in advance to help move through the line quicker. This is an easy walk from the southern tip of Central Park.

The MET is the most visited museum in New York. They’re open now and tickets should be reserved ahead online. Face covering is a must and temperature check before entering. Weekends get a bit crowded so weekdays work better if you don’t like crowds. Do check out Jacob Lawrence in the modern gallery and the Lattice Detour show on the roof garden- both great exhibition!

The Met is a national treasure of such tremendous scope that it seems impossible to ever have enough time to fully appreciate all of the exhibits. Take heart, as it is organized in a fashion that allows one to appreciate it bit by bit. Pro tip: the group entrance (to the far left of the main entrance) is less crowded and remember tickets are good for three consecutive days.

Museum is at a limited capacity giving you a better opportunity to see things as long as you may need to enjoy artwork. Huge building with an enormous archive of art. Definitely wear comfortable shoes. You’d probably need more than a day to really look through the museum. Great for a date!
