The team at Denver Fire were very helpful today as we worked through permitting questions. Thanks for all of your time!

I was on my way to work and thought, I should grab a cup of coffee at the bucks... I realized I had forgotten my wallet... I found myself at the gas station... I had no fuel... I asked a half of dozen people if they could help with 3$ for a gallon of fuel. People quickly said no after they looked at my 80,000$ car, I’m guessing that’s part of the quick no! I know if someone dressed nice and at work commute hours asked for a gallon of gas I would most definitely help, no one did but a Denver fire department, firefighter he helped and guess what dude I’m home, I have my wallet, And I really appreciate it! Thank you!!!

Evening rush hour, downtown Denver, heavy snow. Had sat in traffic for about 45 minutes just to get to Colfax and Speer. Sitting at light, far left lane, on Colfax and Speer when fire truck sounds siren from station at 745 W Colfax. Everyone trying to get out of the way, but no one can - heavy snow! Passenger truck in front of me. Fire Engine blared horn behind me, numerous times with siren full on. Forced me and the truck out into the middle of the intersection at Colfax/Speer, with oncoming traffic. I understand the need to respond quickly to emergencies, but I feel as though I could have been a second victim/emergency. Dangerous maneuvers on the part of DFD. I tried to file a formal complaint with the city and county, but they got back to me 4 days later telling me I needed to call the FD direct. Really?! Disappointed in DFD's concern for my safety!!!

Unprofessional as it gets. These guys don't even have the brain to know how a proper glass art setup should be. They want $50 for doing just about nothing and then get mad when you know more about fire then them. I didn't know heroes were lazy and ignorant.
