One of the busiest railway stations of Sealdah southern route. Thousands of passengers avail trains from this station daily. One can avail auto/taxi/bus from outside the station. This station remains very crowded throughout the day. Need proper maintenance & more passenger amenities.

Bidhannagar Station connects various routs of railway line.nAlso Bidhannagar, or Salt Lake, is a lively residential district with large green spaces. These include Salt Lake Central Park, home to lakes and paths and popular for birdwatching, and family-friendly Nicco Park, with water slides and a roller coaster. Salt Lake Stadium hosts soccer games. High-end Bengali restaurants sit alongside casual global eateries, while bars cluster around office parks in the Sector V area.

Bidhannagar Road is a Kolkata Suburban Railway Station on the Sealdah-Ranaghat line. It is linked to the Sealdah South lines via Sir Gurudas Banerjee Halt railway station. It is located in Ultadanga, Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. It serves Ultadanga, Kankurgachi, Bidhannagar and other surrounding areas.

The footbridge remains accustomed most of the time. It is too narrow for the people who uses it daily. And beside the subway in platform no. 2 there is a narrow path to the foot bridge, that needs to be looked over.

This station is good, structure combination is also pretty good, station is overall clear, cheapest food is available here.
