Three stars because the doctors are very dedicated and hardworking.nnThe infrastructure is dilapidated and the premises are not even properly cleaned let alone sanitised.nnWards are dark gloomy over crowded rooms.nnThe mosquitoes are a real menace here apart from the surprising number of stray cats and dogs inside the premises.nnThe only clean place is the ICU which is decent because it has been provided with some of the life saving equipments the doctors need to save lives

More clean environment is expected. Building is not well maintained.

Midnapore Medical College and Hospital is a full-fledged tertiary referral Government Medical college.nIt was established in the year 2004. The college imparts the degree Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) as well as specialised and post-doctoral degrees. Nursing and para-medical courses are also offered.nThe college is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences and is recognised by Medical Council of India.nThe hospital associated with the college is one of the largest hospitals in the midnapore district.nThe selection to the college is done on the basis of merit through National Eligibility and Entrance Test.nYearly undergraduate student intake is 200 from the year 2019.

I love this place

Good in critical situation.nLack of bed for patient is the main problem of this hospital. Sometimes patients have to lie down on the floor.nnIt takes not more than ten minutes by foot to reach this hospital from Keranitola.....
