A very good romantic place to be with your bae... Can spend quality time by the lake... Best time to go is 4pm to 7pm.

Once a green refuge in the concrete jungle of Kolkata, now, the Dhakuria Lake has been turned into just another concrete element. The entire lake area has hardly any natural floor space. Almost all the boundary is covered with concrete walls creating a barrier between the aquatic and the terrestrial ecosystems. Installing lights have modified the habitat for nocturnal wildlife. In short, a total mess.

Its big, very old lake in South Kolkata. Visitors can enter from Golpark, Rabindra Sarovar or from Lake Lake Kalibari.
