Good bus stand...lots of buses departure from here ...a good clean pay and use toilet present...many other sweets, fruits ,lunch and dinner hotels available

Public Road Transport at Bolpur is pathetically below par. Probably lack of NH, well connected rail and carelessness of local leaders are to be blamed for overlook.nYou should avoid bus services for below reasons.n1. No SBSTC, NBSTC or any other govt depon2. Very few govt bus touches Bolpur on their way to destination.n3. No govt bus booking counter(not even online), so even if u get the bus, no chance of getting a seat.n4. Only short distance super slow private bus operates from the stand, that too very few in the later part of day.n5. No bus timing charts in the stand. Shopkeepers, bus employees are only source of information.n6. Terrible condition in the monsoonn7. Unprofessional mentality of the bus employees, A bandh in jharkhand also stops bus services here.
