Bharda dam lies in the outskirts of Durg district, around 10 KMs from baloda bazaar, and it will take you a fortune to find this place since it lies clandestine in the heart of local forest away from human touch. You may need the help of local navigation and information from by goers to reach there. But once you reach there, you will feel the bliss. Specially in the winter season, when the water levels are at their top. The view looks outlandish, there is no shop for essentials in near vicinity, so you have to carry everything with you. The place is famous among families and groups for picnics and trips.
