Worse condition of the school. The school represents the perfectly the present condition of government run primary school in AssamnThe school premises is good with one old and one new house.nThe old house is not plastered, no window and doors , no desk and bench and in a condition to collapse .nThe new house is in good shape.nA huge playing ground in between these two house of the school but now converted to grassland.nNo fencing and gate in the school , indeed it is situated at the heart of Kokrajhar town.nI have seen pigs making there den in classroom of the old house.nThe house is not used for long time due to lack of students.nProbably this is the real condition of govt. Run primary school in urban places of Assam.nDuring monsoon whole area is flooded by floodwater entering from nearby irrigation canal.nI have not seen any school authority nearby, for two years.nOfcourse if there is no student enrollment in the school, the appointed teacher has nothing to do with the school except getting salary and ideally sit.nI think the higher authority should take very serious step to build up and develop the govt. run primary education system in Assam. Parents want there child to grow with modern education facilities, is which these type of schools cannot fulfill. Due to privatisation of education system, many private schools grow up promising better education to children. Even they are competitive to enroll more and more students as it generate more and more revenue. These private schools even performing better in case of results.nWhere as these govt run primary schools are unable to compete with them , mostly due to whole system backwardness, present socio-economic environment and lack of quality teacher who works hard to atrack students and parents.nOn the other hand due to the enormous number of private schools nearby, parents have better option to enroll their kids.nTherefore urban area, mostly where the household can afford good amount in education consider their children to get education in private school.nBut in rural area and those urban place where economic condition of household is not good enough to make up with private educational institutions, consider this type of school.nThis school represents the perfect example and snapshot of above condition.
