It is not the Jama Masjid of Old Delhi which is opposite to Red Fort. It is just a normal Masjid which is built like other parts in the city for prayers. And as the Temples, Gurudwaras, Churches have different names based on their establishment so does this one prayer house of Muslims in this locality had its name as Jama Masjid.
