Best place for youngsters as carrier opportunity. My experience as Research Fellow in NBPGR, Phagli & with each person in NBPGR was memorable and beautiful. I miss all my staff specially respected Dr. JC Rana sir & mam, Dr. Mohar Singh sir, Dayal Sir, Pankaj sir, Pooja mam, Leeladhar Sir. All took very good care of me and always supported me. Very large and fascinating campus. And well maintained orchards and fields.

The station has developed and released seven varieties viz., 'Annapurna' and 'Durga' of grain amaranth; 'Himpriya' and ‘Himgiri’ of buckwheat; ‘Himshakti’ of rice bean; ‘HPU-51’ of adzuki bean and ‘Himbathua’ of chenopod while eight genetic stocks have been registered for various unique traits while around 20 are in the registration process. Six farmer’s varieties have also been submitted to PPV&FRA, New Delhi for registration.
