Welcome to St. Teresa's Chapel Most Ship Church is one of the most popular architectural sites in India. The temple is built in the shape of an actual ship and is surrounded by beautiful flowers and fishes.nThe construction of such a temple is perhaps the first of its kind not only in Asia but also in the world. Vatican II Council explains that this indicates a general characteristic of temple rites. The church is located at Eravu, 12 km from Thrissur district. Under the Thrissur Syro - Malabar Archdiocese, the church has 17 family units comprising of 850 families and 2 reputed educational institutions. The current vicar is Fr. Joy Kollannur

Church in a models of a ship. Good place to be visiting while in Thrissur. And lots of wall sculpture of biblical nuances.

Amazing Place of Worship for Christians, It has been built in a decent form of a ship and they have maintained some water around it and some fishes.nIt can not be considered as a great architectural achievement as the built-in materials and the level of perfection is way behind.nBut I think this can be considered as a model to make a proper ship alike Structured place of worship.

Nice atmosphere. Church is exactly looks like a ship. Water stream as a border to the building, lots of fish and few turtles adding an enhanced experience for babies and for adults too. We loved a lot and the idea of making a ship church is great and give a different ambience.
