Church is really good, when i had visited with my friend over there, he introduced me to father of church.nInitially for couple of mins he sounded really humble, later he asked me if i was interested in Christianity.nI could assume where it was going and also tried to avoid the communication. But it went on going for while.nI really respect Christianity and i have many Christian friends, but this marketing of any religion is not appropriate.

St. Michael's Church is situated at Manickpur, Vasai, earlier known as Bassein. It is administrated by Fathers of the Society of Jesus, known as Jesuits, belonging to Bombay Province. It was built more than 400 years ago and is a place of tourist attraction. The titular annual Feast falls on third Sunday, January. There are several daily and Sunday Masses. Church festivals are celebrated here with great solemnity and fervour.
