Great spot for bird lovers in winter. Morning visit always preferable by 7 am or so. Bird lovers from.all around visit here from November to February. It takes two hours from Bhubaneshwar to reach here. There are cottages available if someone wants to stay near to the place. There is not much facilities available here. Also please carry a watter bottle and hat for yourself. The guide are good . One has to hire boat from the boarding point by paying fix charges. It includes reference book, binoculars and a guide. It takes almost 3 hours for one trip. If you are a birder you should visit this place for sure.

Nothing worth except in winter when migratory birds come here. No basic aminities. Boat ride is way too costly. The government should develop this place. There's a resort where u can stay. But i would not suggest to go there.

Just awesome. Beautiful colourful birds. You will mesmerized with the beauty of the nature and the birds. Must must visit. The silence atmosphere, with slow moving hand driven boat will make you feel heavenly. The chirping sound of the beautiful birds add icing and cream to the cake. The best time to visit is from October to February .It's a must visit place.

Wonderful place for birds. Huge swampy land. 2 hours of boating ride. No stinking smell. Very friendly boatman and guide. I wish I live closer to this area to be able to visit often. Awesome.

It's spot of bird and natural lovers.nThe best part of it is 120 variants are made their habitat.nThe best time to be on the lake is 6AM TO 8AM.nBEST PERIOD IS NOV-FEB.nTwo to three migrated speicies remaining here for last three years.nThere are three groups to contact for your visit.nAll the groups have trained guides, they are with you and explain bit to bit of birds their origin and their life span.nEven you can witness fishing.nAfter 10AM a large group of ud83dudc03 entering in to lake.nThe forest deportment has four watch towers.
