A nicely maintained monument, the archaeological museum at Sarnath is a must visit for visitors visiting Varanasi. The atmosphere was beautiful. There were many groups of Buddhists from many different countries. I felt honored to be sharing their devotion.The excavation site is awe inspiring. The gardens and the lawns are well maintained.nThe museum attached to the site is small but very nice with interesting pieces.nDefinitely should be part of a Varanasi visit.

Beautiful and amazing to see ancient Indian sculptures and monuments. Museum is really good, you can see the sculptures from a foot distance. Mobile phones are not allowed to take inside museum, and I think that's good, because you give attention by seeing things in real, capturing them into your real memories instead of reels.nFirst time saw the Lion Capital (four lions on inverted lotus) and how good it looks.nA must visit to museum and archaeological monuments.

Nicely maintained place. Garden is beautifully maintained. Surprised to see all the cleanliness that too in UP. Just joking.nJust keep in mind it closes at 1700 hrs, so if you buy tickets for the monument and museum together then stagger your time accordingly.nTop of ashoka's pillar is kept in museum. So don't waste your time in locating it here and there.

I visited this place for the first time. It was peaceful and maintained very properly. I visited on a very sunny day due to that it got tiring but otherwise it is a good visit.nIf your a history enthusiast it will be good to take a guide and know the real story.nnThere is also a nominal entry fee of ₹5.

Holy place of Buddha's,the must visiting place in Varanasi.The holy place has big historical museum, dear park, temples, peaceful places and also parks inside.
