People things that it is the maqbara of firoz shah tughlak which is wrong this the maqbra of shah firoz who was came to india with Mughal Emporer Babur. Shah Firoz was the subedar of jaunpur!nThe maqbara of firoz shah tughlak is situated in Delhi not in jaunpur!

According to historians, the city of Jaunpur was inhabited by Shah Feroz of Tughlaq dynasty in the medieval period. The settlement of Jaunpur city was done by Feroz Shah in the 14th century in memory of his cousin Muhammad bin Tughlaq, whose real name was Jauna Khan. Historians claim that the city was named after Jauna Khan. The ancient tomb on the side of the Allahabad-Gorakhpur highway in Sipah locality is of Shah Feroz.But Feroz Shah, who settled this city, has been forgotten. There is considerable encroachment around the mausoleum. The Archaeological Survey Department has completed its responsibility by laying siege to the tomb with a wire fence.
