Important institute for arts and culture. They offer courses on various Indic languages and foreign languages. The institute also has a museum, library and a huge seminar hall.

It's a most famous and serene centre for various religious, philosophical and classical cultural activities in an important place of kolkata. In each and every week lectures on different issues/thoughts were delivered by Scholars in packed Seminar halls.Also the Library is a treasure for Cnand University students and others .
