One of the biggest water body in Guwahati. It is supposedly a part of the Brahmaputra once and separated years back, hence is a kind of OX BOW LAKE.nIt is a habitat to a large variety of fresh water fishes and migratory birds.nThe place is heavenly to watch.nLocal fish vendors put their catch on sale and the Fresh water fishes frok the Deepor Beek are delicious.nA must visit for anyone visiting Assam.n.nAdvice:If you want to visit to enjoy the scenes of the Deepor beel, tge best time would be really early in the morning anout 6-7 amnOr by 3-4 pm in the winters and 4-5 pm in summers, beacuse no use visiting in the scorching heat or in the dark .nYou can ejoy snacks from nearby small vendors ,bit if you are skeptical about eating outside, carry some snacks and tea and enjoy the view from your car.n.nKINDLY DO NOT LITTER THE PLACE...OR CREATE NUISANCE,nJUST SIT BACK ENJOY NATURE AND IT'S CREATION...nBE HUMBLE, BE HUMAN..
